Questions continue to be asked of how much longer the South American superstar will be spending in MLS with 國際米蘭 Miami. A 12-month extension option in his contract is yet to be triggered.
Messi will become a free agent at the end of the year if no clause is taken up in Florida, with it already being suggested that he could seek out a new challenge ahead of the 2026 世界盃 – which will see him trying to help Argentina defend their global crown.
