- 羅馬 have increased bid to €30m including bonuses
- Rios and Serie A side have agreed personal terms
- Competition from 本菲卡 和 英超聯賽 俱樂部
Roma have submitted an offer of €27m (£23m/$31m) plus €3m in bonuses for Rios, edging closer to 帕爾梅拉斯‘ €30m asking price, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Director Ricky Massara expects a response from Palmeiras by Thursday evening, with personal terms already agreed with Ríos. This has boosted Roma’s confidence in beating competition from Benfica, who remain interested but have yet to submit an official offer, according to 天空.
After impressive performances at the Club 世界盃 and in 巴西‘s domestic league, Ríos has emerged as one of the most sought-after midfielders. Rios, who has a €100m (£86m/$117m) release clause at Palmeiras, had Italian side 國際米蘭 interested in signing him in case Hakan Calhanoglu left to join 加拉塔薩雷 but the midfielder has decided to stay back at Inter.
Rios isn’t the only player Roma are interested in from Brazil. They are also interested in 佛朗明哥 wing-back 威斯利, with new coach Gian Piero Gasperini making him a top priority.
Roma hope for a quick response from Palmeiras while Rios, who has already set his mind on a move to the Italian capital, will hope the two teams come to an agreement over the transfer.
