At 38 years of age, the powerful forward is showing no sign of slowing down in his homeland. The former Porto and Zenit frontman is maintaining an impressive strike rate that has seen him net 14 times through 18 appearances this season.
A brace was bagged in his latest appearance, with 綠巨人 doing all he could to try and salvage something for Atletico Mineiro in a dramatic encounter with Club 世界盃 quarter-finalists 帕爾梅拉斯.
His efforts ultimately proved to be in vain, as Palmeiras prevailed 3-2 in a five-goal thriller. Hulk did, however, score late in each half to keep the game interesting.
