- Kiwior’s private jet cancelled
- Porto want to complete transfer
- อาร์เซนอล yet to finalise Hincapie deal
Porto have agreed personal terms with Kiwior, who is ready to pen an initial five-year deal. The ลีกาโปรตุเกส side are looking to sign the defender on a season-long loan deal with an obligation to buy next summer. According to the Mirror Porto arranged for a private jet to fly down Kiwior to โปรตุเกส to complete the transfer, but the Gunners cancelled the trip on Tuesday.
Kiwior’s transfer hinges on whether the Gunners can secure Hincapie, who has agreed to sign a long-term deal with the พรีเมียร์ลีก club. Arsenal are eyeing an initial loan move for the defender, with an obligation to buy next summer. However, Leverkusen are not agreeing to the move unless their defender’s release clause of £52 million (€60m/$70m) is triggered.
Leverkusen have already lost several first players this transfer window. Stars like Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Granit Xhaka and Jonathan Tah have all left the club and as a result, they do not want to further weaken Erik ten Hag’s squad unless their terms are met.
With less than a week left of the summer transfer window, Mikel Arteta will hope that the club can find a resolution in the Hincapie transfer saga. The Gunners will be back in action in the Premier League on Sunday as they face champions ลิเวอร์พูล at Anfield.
