However, The Telegraph has now reported that Spurs are still monitoring the situation and could yet return with a fresh offer.
Spurs already boast strong depth at centre-back, with Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Kevin Danso and Radu Dragusin on their books. However, with Romero entering the final two years of his deal and interest coming from España, the club may be planning ahead. As such, the potential signing of Guehi could be a strategic move to future-proof the defence or cover potential exits this summer.
