Despite the sizeable offer, Newcastle are reportedly unwilling to let Isak go unless he personally requests the move. With three years remaining on his contract and Liga de Campeones football secured, the Magpies are in no hurry to negotiate, unless the striker himself pushes for a transfer.
Liverpool’s ambition is clear: they’ve already broken transfer records this summer with the £100m ($134m) signing of Florian Wirtz, as well as the additions of Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez. Adding Isak would cap off what supporters are calling one of Liverpool’s most formidable transfer campaigns ever.
Arsenal supporters are stunned and even fearful after Liverpool entered the race for Isak, with several fans suggesting that Arteta’s side may be ‘finished’ if they miss out on the Swedish striker.

Whereas another fan, @VdykCFC, said: “Liverpool are about the single handedly have the greatest transfer window of all time.”

Landing from Real Sociedad for £63m ($84m) in 2022, Isak has scored 54 goals in 86 Liga Premier games for Newcastle. If Liverpool land Isak, it could cap a legendary summer rebuild. If not, they may pivot to Ekitike or explore other targets, but the intention has been made clear: they’re fully committed to major striking additions.
